Project Description

Maximizing Impact: A Showroom That Elevates Alur’s Glass Wall Systems

Alur needed a showroom that not only displayed their glass wall systems but also demonstrated their functionality in a real-world setting. The design had to overcome sound control challenges, highlight the transparency of the partitions, and work within the constraints of a low ceiling.

Gray Space Architecture collaborated closely with engineers at FMC to re-route ductwork and sprinkler lines, ensuring the space felt open and uncluttered. Acoustic treatments were integrated to maintain sound separation without compromising the aesthetic of the glass enclosures. Strategic lighting and layout design further emphasized the flexibility and sophistication of Alur’s products.

The result is an NYC showroom design that provides an immersive, real-world demonstration of Alur’s glass wall systems—allowing clients to experience their full potential firsthand.
